An instance has come to the fore where electricity authorities of Nimapara look very casual towards safety of human lives in the town.
Though a transformer has been put up on the middle of the main road connecting Bhubanpur village, Ward 11 of the Nimapara NAC, for long, repeated requests of villagers to replace that have fallen in deaf ears only.
The transformer, located near the electric office, poses danger for life when thousands of villagers, including schoolchildren and college students, move frequently on the road daily. Happening of an untoward incident anytime can’t be avoided.
locals have once again requested the Nimapara electric division to shift the transformer to another place at the earliest.
