The Railways have undertaken traffic and power block for launching of RCC segment boxes in connection with construction of limited Height Sub-ways between Deogaon Road and Sainthala Stations in Sambalpur-Titilagarh Railway section under Sambalpur Division and Dusi and Ponduru Stations in Palasa-Visakhapatnam Railway section under Visakhapatnam Division of East Coast Railway.

Due to first block taken up in UP line between Dusi and Ponduru for eight hours from 6 am to 2 pm on April 26, trains ran on single down line between Srikakulam and Punduru stations and hence delayed. The second block is scheduled to take place in the Down line between Ponduru and Dusi stations for eight hours from 5.45 am to 1.45 pm on April 27 and hence will cause slight delay for trains like which run on the line during this time period.

Visakhapatnam-Palasa-Visakhapatnam passenger/MEMU will remain cancelled from both the directions on April 27.

The traffic will be blocked in Deogaon and Sainthala stations for five hours from 5.55am to 10.55 am in Sambalpur-Titilagarh section on April 25. As a result, Sambalpur-Rayagada-Sambalpur Inter City will remain cancelled on the day and Titilagarh-Jharsuguda passenger will be rescheduled to leave Titilagarh three hours late. Similarly, the Slip Coach service by Puri-Hatia-Puri Tapaswini Express will be detached and attached in Sambalpur Station only.
