The Women’s Organisation for Socio-Cultural Awareness (WOSCA) in collaboration with Vodafone has started a computer and English learning centre at Gopalpur in Keonjhar district. “We want educated tribal youths to be literate in computer and English so that they can compete with others to get jobs,” WOSCA secretary Dharitri Rout said.

The project would improve the knowledge and skills of tribals and it’s a noble CSR initiative by Vodafone, added Zilla Parishad President Sarilata Prusty, who inaugurated the centre. About 30 trainees have been enrolled in the centre to undergo a three-month training course. ADM Sangram Kesari Swain and other guests were also present.
