Train services proposed for cancellation on Tuesday due to strike in Andhra Pradesh have been resumed after resumption of electricity supply in the Visakhapatnam division.
The Railways had decided to cancel the Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Visakha Express and Bhubaneswar-Puducherry Weekly Express, both originating from Bhubaneswar, and Janmabhoomi, Simhadri, Ratnachalam, Tirumala, Dakshin link, Garib Rath and Duronto Express originating from Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.
After resumption of the electricity supply during late night in the Visakhapatnam Division of the East Coast Railway, the railway administration took immediate steps to normalise the train services.
