Commuters at the Angul railway station would get facilities like Train Indication Boards (TIBs) and Coach Indication Boards (CIBs) soon to know about the information like arrival and departure of trains, placement of coaches and trains at platforms. The East Coast Railway (ECoR) would provide digital Coach/Train Indication Display Boards.
The work for provision of TIBs and CIBs at the station has been sanctioned and it is likely to be done by March, 2017.
Manual Public Address System is available at Angul Station now and Auto-announcement System would be provided soon after the installation of CIBs and TIBs.
Separate upper class waiting rooms both for gents and ladies are available at the station. Several facilities like extension of platforms, provision of platform sheds, lighting facilities at stations, parking place and circulating areas were also provided to facilitate the passengers at Angul station.
