The State Government has decided to open Traffic police stations at Sambalpur and Baleswar, very soon to deal with traffic problems.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday approved a proposal of the Home Department to this effect, official sources said.
Setting up of Traffic police stations were mooted in view of rapid increase in population in these two towns in recent years, the sources added.
