looters and chain snatchers seem to have become more active again in the city. In three incidents, miscreants looted Rs 2 lakh and two gold chains from a trader and two women, respectively. In the first incident, two Pulsar-borne miscreants snatched away a bag containing Rs 2 lakh from a trader at Rajmalhal Square at 11 am. After the trader came out of the bank to the road, the miscreants cried out Bag Padigala and snatched the bag as the trader was baffled by the shout. In the second and the third incidents, miscreants snatched away gold chains from two women in the Governor House Square-Gopabandhu Chhak area at around 1.30 pm. While one woman was identified as an employee of the Home Department, another was sister of a cine artist.
