Published on:

With the Similipal National Park having reopened for public from November 1, tourists, from within and outside the State have been flocking to the sanctuary in increasing numbers.

With the weather being fine and favourable and everything being conducive and peaceful, the visitors have been showing great enthusiasm in travelling to the area.

On the first day itself, i.e. November 1, the tourists moved to the  National Park through both the Jashipur and Lulung routes. Similipal,

it may be noted, will remain open for the visitors for the next 7-8 months.

Similipal had been closed for the tourists for the last four and a half months. Every year, authorities close Similipal for visitors during the rainy season.
