In a bid to boost tourism sector in the State and sensitise about the new tourism policy, the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Odisha (HRAO) proposed to hold a State-level tourism conclave of leaders of the travel trade, airlines, Government officials from the Ministries of Tourism, Forest and Environment, Home, besides Parliamentarians and other decision makers on December 2. The dignitaries will contribute their suggestions in the workshop, which will be conducted in association with the State Tourism Department. Tourism Minister Maheswar Mohanty will inaugurate the meet. Meanwhile, the HRAO contributed `2 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund recently for the Phailin and flood victims.
