The Covid-19 vaccination drive for the frontline workers was held in Ganjam district on Saturday with the Collector and senior police officers receiving the jab at various centres.At the Chhatrapur Block Office centre, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange, Ganjam SP Brijesh Kumar Rai and police officers were administered the vaccine shot. At the Brahampur Reserve Police premises Brahampur SP Pinaki Mishra ASP Prabhat Rautray, SDPO(City PK Mishra, SDPO (Sadar Bishnu Pati got the vaccine.Similarly, at the Brahmapur Town Hall all health workers, Brahmapur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) sanitation staffs got the vaccine shots.The program was inaugurated by BeMC Commissioner Siddheswar Baliram Bondar and Sub-Collector Keerthi Basan was the guest.Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange said, The Covid-19 warriors in Ganjam had served the people without caring for their lives constantly for ten months. We can’t forget their services and sacrifices.”
