After around two and a half months, the absconding Tofan Baba surrendered before the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) of Jeypore on Tuesday with a High Court anticipatory bail.

The SDJM allowed his bail instructing him to follow the conditions given by the High Court, and after fulfilling the criteria he was released on bail.

The Baba had furnished the condition of the Court and deposited `15,000 as security deposit and one surety for his bail, said Tofan Baba’s counsel Rajendra Samantray.
