World’s top ranked institution Thunderbird has for the first time in India tied up with the XIMB, Xavier University, Bhubaneswar along with the WP Carey School of Business, Arizona State University and eleven other overseas institutions for facilitating students and faculties for exchange and collaborative researches and teaching programs.
This was stated by Vice-Chancellor of Xavier University and Director of XIMB Fr Paul Fernandes here on Tuesday.
This long-term partnership is again emphasising the values, standards and quality of management education that the Xavier University stands for and this relationship can grow more fruitfully in the coming years.
The XIMB already has significant cooperation with India having inked MoUs with top universities and colleges. This is a long-term global opportunity for students of Odisha and India through the XIMB to be enrolled for five programmes, Master of Global Management, MA in Global Affairs & Management, MSc in Business Analytics, MSc in Finance and MSc in Global logistics.
“To us, India is a key element in our strategy of opening up the university internationally. The sheer pool of talent that this country has to offer is big, and there are a number of very good institutions in the country offering higher education,” said Fr Fernandes.
“Our strategy has not been to create our own campus but to build partnerships with those institutions with which we have closest affinity. As part of that strategy, we have created dual degrees with institutions as like one year in XIMB and one year in overseas universities. We go about building a new education bonding in globally. We are collaborating with top institutions in the world,” he added.
