The district special taskforce conducted raids at five ultra sound centers and sealed three of them by seizing their documents following the ultrasound centers failed to maintain the procedural guidelines. According to official sources, a three-member special task force led by Sub-Collector Pratap Kumar Mishra conducted a raid in five ultrasound centres and private clinics located at Kendrapada township and seized the documents. The team sealed three of them as they failed to provide them valid documents.
Others who were in the task force team included Kendrapada Tehsildar Dharitri Mishra and Kendrapada Town police station IIC Ranjan Kumar Dey. The sealed clinics and ultrasounds were identified as Surya
Nursing Home, lifeline ultra sound center, Pratap ultrasound center, Healthcare clinic and Bhagabati clinic. According to Sub Collector Mishra during the raid, the task force examined the documents of the ultra sound centers and found three ultrasound centers were not abiding by the guidelines.
