Following lockdown and shutdown, Covid positive cases has been increasing in Pallahara subdivision each day.What has worried locals is that three persons have succumbed to the virus during the last 12 days.
While auto-rickshaw driver Arun Sahu (32) of Hansala village under Rohila GP died on October 4, Deba Naik of Khamar village under Khamar GP succumbed on October 9 and Udaya Behera (62) of Nimiribeda village under Badasada GP died on October 11.
In view of rise in positive cases and deaths, the Khamar Bazaar Business Association has decided to keep a half of the market shut till the situation comes under control.
