Three persons were killed after their motorbike hit a heavy vehicle from behind on SH-10 near Barmal in Jharsuguda district on Sunday night. They were identified as Md Samim (38), Md Naseem(55) and Md Faizan-20, all residents of Mangal Bazar, Jharsuguda.
The accident occurred when the trio was returning from Thelkuli of Sambalpur. They declared received dead by the District Headquarters Hospital, Barmal police said. Police have seized the vehicle and the motorcycle. But the driver managed to flee from the spot. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
