The three-day annual State-level tribal festival Parab-2013, which was earlier scheduled to be held from November 16 to 18, has been postponed due to the recent cyclone in the State.

At a preparatory meeting organised at the DRDA conference hall here, Koraput District Collector Susil Ramchandran Jadav declared that the festival would be rescheduled to be held towards the end of the year or in the beginning of next year.

Among others, Zilla Parishad president Malati Majhi, the BDOs and Sub-Collectors of Jeypore and Koraput were present at the meeting. They also observed a two-minute silence prayer for the victims of the Phailin storms.
