The country at present is witnessing changes in the construction sector. In the globalised economic scenario necessity for modern and massive infrastructure is enormous.
Hence, matching to the global standards is important, said Governor Dr SC Jamir at the valedictory ceremony of the 4th all India Housing Conference organsied by Odisha State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation (OSPHWC).
“In these times where cost efficiencies, productivity and concern for the environment need to go hand in hand, we have no other choice than designing the building with the best practices available. It is time to think big to transform our own booming construction sector,” the Governor observed. Among others, DGP Sanjeev Marik, Works Secretary Nalinikant Pradhan and OSPHWC CMD Satyajit Mohanty were present on the occasion.
