Things go bad in Deogarh Aurobindo School

Published on:

The Sri Aurobindo Integral Schools having name and fame all over the State for quality education, discipline and topnotch management makes a difference at Deogarh.

But now, things are not going on smoothly here due to differences between the management and the teachers. Even, guardians of the schools are also dissatisfied lot.

“Things were alright here for long. But after a new management committee took over, there is mismanagement and interference in the day-to-day activities of the school,” alleged school Headmistress Sumitra Purohit. “The interference of the managing committee in all affairs of the school has reached unbearable proportions,” she alleged further.

And in protest, teachers and students’ guardians closed the school main gate and sat in a dharna. They also held a meeting at the school premises demanding dissolution of the present managing committee and form a new one in its place.

It was further alleged that because the headmistress called a meeting of the guardians, some members of the managing committee misbehaved with them and even went to the extent of scolding the

headmistress in rough language.

The guardians who are quite satisfied with the teachers for their quality teaching have informed the managing committee that they will not allow their kids to come to the school till the present committee is dissolved and a new one comes in its place.
