The Odisha Television Artists’ Association (OTTA) has decided to issue notice to the producer of serial To Aganara Tulasi Mu aired in the Sarthak TV opposing the return of Pralipta Priyadarshini Samal alias Jessy to the serial after being accused in the suicide of TV artist Ranjit Patnaik alias Raja. .
The association held its general body meeting on Sunday and passed a resolution to this effect.
Actor Bhagban Behera, who has quit the serial protesting Jessy’s reentry, said all the members of the association have realised the reality about Raja’s death.
The return of Jessy to the serial after her release from jail on bail has created resentment among her serial co-actors and also the television artist fraternity.
Some co-actors quit the serial also and many others have openly expressed their resentment over the development.
