In yet another such shocking incident, a teacher of the MV 71 Project Upper Primary School in the district has been accused of sexually assaulting girl students.
Sources said the teacher, identified as Manjeet Bain, used to sexually exploit the students and threaten to fail them in the examinations, if they disclosed about it to anyone. In fear, the students remained silent and the accused teacher continued his nefarious activities.
later, the girls informed their parents, following which a meeting was called on in the presence of the Cluster Resource Coordinator (CRC) at the school. The accused teacher along with his wife was also present at the meeting. Even though the teacher rubbished the allegations, his wife slapped him in front of all. A video of the wife slapping the teacher has gone viral.
