Sub-Collector Gauhari Behera told to the complainants that excess lands encroached by the Tata Sponge can be restored to the original tenants if they so desire.

Sources revealed that on Monday, while a discussion with regard to employment of Tata Sponge landoustees was going on, Krishna Gagrai complained that Tata Sponge had encroached more land of the adivasi people than actual payment made.
At a meeting at the Sub Collector level, it was decided that the company would give competition to the original tenants. It was also decided that if the company fails to pay, then action can be initiated to restore back the land acquired by the company.
