The State Government on Thursday relieved senior IAS officer Taradatt as KBK Administrator and appointed him as full-time Director General of the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, the post which he was holding as an additional responsibility. Taradatt was replaced by Ashok Tripathy as the Administrator for KBK region. Tripathy would also hold his earlier responsibility as Member, Board of Revenue.
Notably, Taradatt had earlier been shifted from Additional Chief Secretary (Revenue) post in the wake of his wife bringing mental harassment allegation against him.
