Senior IAS officer Taradatt on Friday appeared before the State Commission for Women (SCW) after his wife Indulata Das earlier alleged that he was involved in ‘moral turpitude.’
Das too deposed herself before the commission. Sources said both the husband were counselled close-door.
Earlier in October last year, despite the summons from the SCW the senior bureaucrat did not depose before the commission and sought more time to appear.
last year, the SCW had summoned both to appear for counselling on October 13. While Indulata turned up, her husband did not. Instead he had filed a time petition. Das had moved the SCW in July alleging that her husband has illicit relationship with a woman IAS officer based in Delhi.
The 1983 batch IAS officer’s wife had in December 2014 had submitted a petition to the Chief Minister seeking justice too. However, Taradatt has denied any illicit affairs.
