The Indian Institute for Production Management (IIPM), Kansbahal organised an international seminar on ‘Talent Management —the Next Agenda’ at its campus on Wednesday.
IIPM director Prof Dr Niranjan Nayak urged the industry and academia to make talent management their next agenda. He said the main focus of organisations should be on talent management and talent development.
The seminar witnessed an interactive session among researchers, policy makers as well as field level practitioners involved in talent management. It focused on talent management in varied contexts including leadership, business strategy, technology, benchmarking, social media, marketing, corporate restructuring, auditing and organizational change etc.
Apart from national-level participants, around 40 foreign delegates from 16 countries attended the seminar, which would follow an International Management Development Programme (MDP) of 10 weeks.
