Taj Mahal was a Siva temple, says Puri seer

Published on:

Sanakaracharya of Puri Gobardhan Peeth Swami NischalanandaSaraswati has claimed that the present Taj Mahal was earlier a Siva temple and was named Tejo Mahalaya, wherein there was an idol of Lord Siva.

The Hindu seer on Monday stated that the entire history of Tejo Mahalaya is still preserved in the Jaipur palace of Rajasthan and too available in the visitors’ register which had been written by some foreign tourists during their visit.

Hence, it is proved from the above facts that the old name of Taj Mahal was Tejo Mahalaya, the Sankaracharya stated and requested Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi to take note of it.

Swami Nischalananda observed all this in a brief video message on his official Facebook handle.

He stated that the real and fundamental facts which have since been tampered with in the name of history need to be corrected now.
