Swine flu claims 5 in State

The death toll due to swine flu mounted to five in the State on Tuesday. The latest victim, a 56-year-old woman, hailing from Aska in Ganjam district, had been admitted to a private hospital here, where she succumbed to the disease, said Public Health Department Director Kailash Dash.

The deceased had spent around one month in north India, where she got affected by the disease, he said. Meanwhile, one more person was tested positive for the swine flu virus, taking the total number of affected cases to 14 in the State, official sources said.
