Odishi dancer Swati Sradhanjali performed Kalyan Pallavi during a four-day-long Jayadev Samaroh organised by the National Culture Mission and the Devdasi Nrutya Mandir here on Thursday.

She performed the dance on the opening day of the Samaroh in the young artist group (Naveen Kalakar). Kalyan Pallavi is the third part of the famous Odishi dance. It is the most graceful part of the dance based on a classical Raaga Kalyan.

Swati, who lives in the city, has already been awarded for her outstanding dance performance. She has been conferred with awards in the Odishi International 2014 and the Cuttack Mahotsav 2015.
