A two-day third Mahima Utsav organised by the Swara Sudha Sangeet Vidyalaya at the Gopabandhu Town hall here concluded recently. State Housing Board chairman Saroj Kumar Samal and Sadhu Nityananda Das along with Balkaldhari Mahima Samaj’s Sreemat Raghunath Baba, Kaupindhari Mahima Samaj representative and Dhenkanal Municipality Chairman Indramani Behera graced the occasion as honourable guests for both the days.
Principal of Swara Sudha Kanaklata Mohanty read out the annual report and secretary of the institution Sreedhar Mohanty offered s vote of thanks.
Eminent flute player Gagan Bihari Nanada, dramatist Dilliswar Moharana, Bipin Bihary Pattnaik and music director Prasanta Mohanty were felicitated with the Swara Sudha Samman. A souvenir containing stories about the propagation of Mahima Samaj was released. Students of Swara Sudha performed attractive dance and musical programmes.
