The Jeypore Swedeshi Jagaran Abhijan held a campaign for Chinese goods boycott, led by coordinator Dinbandhu Agrawal while Niranjan Mishra and other members assisted.
A human chain taking the students from different schools, besides a rally, were held.
The rally was carried in the main road starting from Traffic Chowk to Rajanagar Chowk where the students were seen carrying placards and making people aware of the need to boycott China products.
On the occasion, an interschool debate competition was organised on topic “China a threat to the nation’, where a large number of students participated and gave their suggestions.
Forum national convenor Annanda Shankar Panigrahi graced the occasion as the chief guest. Social worker Promod Kumar Raul joined as a guest. The members burnt Chinese products.
