The Sikshya Vikas Samiti, Odisha, Ex-Students' Council organised the Swami Vivekananda Bakhyanamalaon the topic of "The New Age of Independence-National Education Policy" as part of organising the Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav. The function was presided over by advisor of council Satya Narayan Patnaik and was addressed by convenor Ramakant Mahanta. Chief speaker cum Eastern Convenor of RSSS Anil Kumar Mishra highlighted the value of celebrating the occasion. Former students Ashwini Kumar Sahu, Shuvendu Shekhar Shasmal and Mihir Kumar Mishra also spoke on key issues.
Former student Swati Suman Mohapatra coordinated the programme while Rashmi Ranjan Das introduced the guests with a welcome address. Dr Kumaresh Behera gave vote of thanks.
A large number of former students of Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Odisha participated in the State-level virtual programme, which was held under the direct supervision of Provincial Alumni Council head Bajrang Swain.
