Biranchi Mishra, son of self-proclaimed godman Sura Baba alias Surendranath Mishra of Trahi Achyut ashram, was interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) here on Thursday.
Sources said ED officials grilled Mishra on land and financial dealings of the ashram.
The ED had on Wednesday interrogated the ashram’s accountant Manoranjan Acharya for nearly five hours.
Similarly, Pilasky Swain, a close associate of another self-proclaimed godman Sarathi Baba alias Santosh Raul was also interrogated. The ED had on Wednesday grilled Sisir Khatua, another close associate of Sarathi.
Notably, Swain was earlier grilled by the ED on June 2. At that time, he told reporters that the godman had given him Rs 20 lakh to manage the media after negative reports about him were doing rounds in the media.
He had then said he had revealed the names to the ED but could not reveal it to the media. Notably, both the self-proclaimed godmen are now in jail after their black deeds were exposed.
