The Bhubaneswar Music Circle (BMC) organised this Sunjukta Panigrahi memorial dance festival 2013 at the Rabindra Mandap here on Sunday. The music composition of the performance was by Pandit Madhup Mudgal in rag Misra Khamwaz. As the trio started flowing and communicating, they spontaneously set the pace of their own.

The second performance was “Bhumisuta” by Aruna Mohanty. The performance was about the questioning of Janak Nandini Sita’s purity after her abduction by Dashanan Ravan. The raga performed was Mallika. The second presentation of Biswas started with the characterisation of Yashoda, mother of lord Krishna, as she depicted the kinship between Yashoda and her son. The music of the performance was composed by Pandit Harmohan Khuntia Among others, linguist Dr Debi Prasanna Pattnaik and BMC president Arabinda Behera and general secretary Khirod Pattnaik were present.
