Sunjoy Hans of the Aama Odisha Party (AOP) has the sole distinction of contesting from a Parliamentary constituency as well as an Assembly constituency in the State in the current twin elections.
Hans, a Bhubaneswar-based business tycoon in jewellery and hotel sectors, who has declared his assets worth Rs 65 crore in his affidavit, is seeking election from the Bhubaneswar Parliamentary and Ekamra Bhubaneswar Assembly constituencies.
Hans, known for his glamorous bearing, has mostly been relying on road shows in the areas of the Assembly constituency, which is part of his lok Sabha constituency. A prominent feature of his campaigning is participation of television artists, mostly women including Gargi Mohanty and Neetu.
