International sand artist Sudarshan Pattnaik is all set to participate in the 6-day World Championship of Sand Sculpting scheduled to be held in Atlantic City, USA from June 11.
After receiving the invitation from the assistant director of the event an elated Pattnaik said, “I will try my best to create a beautiful sculpture in the championship.”
Nearly twenty renowned sculptors around the world will participate in this championship. Recently, the 36-year-old artist has won the Danish grand prize at 2nd Copenhagen International Sand Sculpture Festival 2013, Denmark and Moscow choice prize at Russia.
So far Pattnaik has represented India in more than 50 international sand sculpture championships and won many prizes.
