An Anganwadi centre building at Pipilipali in Bijepur block has been left half-constructed for a long time. locals have alleged below-par construction work in the building.
Sources said Rs 5 lakh was sanctioned for construction of the centre during 2012-13.
There is no information board detailing the materials used and the sum of money spent on the project.
When asked, the authorities said that the construction of the building has been left half way due to the model code of conduct. They, however, assured that the building would be completed soon.
