Fakir Kheti of Piteipali village of Bhandar Gram Panchayat of Binka block here got a work order of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) from a former BDO. But till today he has not got a single rupee, while the construction work of the house was to be finished by March 31, this year. The beneficiary many times moved to the Panchayat and Block offices, besides the Collectorate, but it vain.
There is no order no. and date in mentioned the work order of the beneficiary, but there is the signature of the former BDO. This issue has raised eye brows here as on the one hand, the Government is creating new schemes for people, while on the other, people are being harassed by the officials and despite complaints, they are left scot-free.
Meanwhile, Fakir has urged the district administration to take immediate step to provide him justice.
