Catching fish is the only source of earning daily bread for around 15 families of 150 numbers. Due to the shortage of fish in the Mahanadi, they are also losing their daily bread. They had got four decimal of land each for staying 16 years ago from the Government. But some miscreants broke their house and tried to evict them from their land. The denizens have gone several times to the tehsildar to air their grievances but in vain. Of late, they have requested to the district Collector for demarcation of their land and issue of patta in their favour.
