Subarnapur district Collector Dasirathi Satpathy deducted one day’s salary of a district-level officer as he did not attend the grievance cell held at Birmaharajpur on April 17, 2017.
While all district officials were present, District Project Coordinator of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan didn’t come and even didn’t inform his higher officer.
In his order issued on the same day, the Collector stated that his salary for the day would be cut unless he cites sufficient reason for his absence. A photocopy of the order has been also sent to District Treasury Officerand Additional Secretary of School and Mass Education.
