The BJP Nimapara unit under the leadership of BJP Mahila Morcha State president Pravati Parida organised a meeting here on Wednesday for a signature campaign across the Nimapara Assembly constituency demanding sub-division status to the area.
Parida said the Nimapara is perfect in every angle to become a sub-division, but the State Government is in not a mood to declare it. After the campaign, a memorandum would be submitted to the Governor, she added.
Among others, ZP Member Purnachandra Ojha, Purnachandra Sahoo, Manas Pradhan, Prasanna Kumar Dash, Susanta Swain, Basudev Behera and Bijay Panda were present.
