The Ravenshaw Bikash Abhijan on Friday submitted a memorandum to Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal demanding steps to hold direct Students’ Union elections in the Ravenshaw University to fulfil the democratic rights to the students. Among others, former university Vice-Chancellor Ganesh Tripathy, Siddharth Rath, Khirod Mahapatra, Jugal Kishore Nayak, Prasant Das, Prasant Panda, Sukant Nayak, Kamiludin Ahmad, Suresh Rout, Enamul Hauque, Khageswar Sethi, Pavel Priyadarshan, Manoranjan Routray were present during submission of the memorandum.
