The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), State unit on Thursday claimed that students have discarded the ruling BJD in union polls held in colleges and universities across the State on Wednesday.
“The ruling party had made college and university campuses as its political Aakhadas and resorted to hooliganism. The students have given befitting replies
by defeating candidates fielded by the BJD,” said BJYM State president Tankadhar Tripathi in a statement.
He said students didn’t vote for BJD candidates as the State Government has failed to fill up lecture posts and provide basic facilities for students in educational institutions.
