As many as 40 students of the Government Women’s College, Sambalpur, have been declared failed as they have secured zero in English. The reason behind securing zero is that they didn’t appear the particular paper.
But the victim students confirmed that they appeared in English but they have marked as absent for the reason totally known to the CHSE authorities. Now these students are passing through uncertainty as to whether they can apply for +3 classes in different colleges in time.
Today nearly 20 students out of the above 40 who went to the college en mass put their grievance before Principal Jiten Kumar Mishra who assured them of taking up the matter with the CBSE authorities and see that their results declared soon with their English marks in the mark sheet.
Mishra also showed them the college records where they had been marked present in the exam paper. He also immediately contacted the regional office of the CHSE at Sambalpur who clarified that the mistake may be at Bhubaneswar level.
