For the unruly and unwanted behaviour of a boy in the  school, he was beaten by his teacher though it is illegal. The father of the boy brought the matter to the notice of the school authorities and the Child Welfare Committee (CWC). As per information, Md Rihan, a student of Class-VI of the Zilla School, gave a love letter to a girl of his own class, to which the girl protested. She also brought the matter to the notice of teacher Pramod Kumar Behera who asked the boy regarding the matter. But the concerned boy didn’t even respond to the teacher for which he beat the boy.

Taking advantage of the law of the State, the parents of the boy informed the matter to the CWC and also the school authorities. “The matter is under investigation and action will be taken against all found guilty,” CWC member Rameswar Padhee said. It is a fact that there are some students in all schools who are coming for mid day meal and never study.

Such students are also coming in a way of the meritorious students and becoming headache for the teachers. But teachers are helpless.

The incident of the Zilla School is the latest one. Notably, the victim girl belongs to a reputed family of the town.

Meanwhile, the guardians of the Zilla School are also keeping watch on the situation and preparing for a mass protest against such students.
