A joint eviction team consisting of officials from the BDA, the BMC and the Commissionerate Police on Thursday demolished the unauthorised construction from the Omfed square to the Care Hospital under the Chandrasekharpur PS. During the demolition drive, 104 temporary shops were removed.
The demolition drive was conducted by the BMC Additional Commissioner Subhranshu Mishra, BDA Enforcement Officer Pramod Patra, BDA liaisioning Officer Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty and Chandrasekharpur PS IIC Dipak Kumar Mishra. One platoon of gents APR Force and one section lady force were also present at the site to maintain law and order during the demolition drive.
