The traffic system in Brahmapur city would be improved with strict rules, informed Brahmapur SP Asish Singh on Sunday.
The Brahmapur Municipal Corporation has been asked to form traffic linings at main roads, marketplaces and important places of the city by April 15, he said.
After the linings are marked, action would also be taken against the road users who would not obey the rules, Singh warned. “Three people on one bike, wrong parking and use of mobile phones during driving are banned in the city, and we are collecting around `50,000 as fine per day in this regard,” the SP said.
