The vigilance police on Friday raided the office and residences of statistical assistant Sumanta Sahu of Morada in Mayurbhanj district on charges of amassing property disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The anti-graft wing conducted the raid simultaneously at five places, including Sahu’s office at Morada and houses at Betonati and Baripada. The officials later sealed his office.
But the amount of disproportionate assets that the Statistical Assistant possessed, are yet to be ascertained.
