Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (PYCC) president lokanath Moharathy on Monday hit out at the BJD Government for “failure” of the State Youth policy during the last 17 years of its rule.
Addressing a Press conference here, Moharathy said recently the BJD held a its youth wing’s working committee meeting and its president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed party youths to conduct
six meetings in six different zones in the State to make people aware of the achievements of the Government during its 17 years of rule. But It is evident that the BJD has become weak to face the 2019 elections and is trying to use its youth wing to work on a war footing to salvage its position.
But the people are very much aware of the Government’s achievements during the last 17 years, Mohanty said, adding that the ruling party’s attempt to divert the attention of the general public would fail utterly.
