The State Government and the Indian Rugby Football Union (IRFU) would sponsor the Indian national rugby teams for next three years till 2023 and would also facilitate high-performance training and conditioning of the players.
An agreement in this regard was signed on Tuesday by State Sports Director R Vineel Krishna and IRFU president Maneck Unwala in the presence of State Sports.
