The State’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Department has prepared a plan to create employment by promoting 10,000 young men and women as entrepreneurs in the financial year 2013-14.
The department would provide all kinds of help including technical knowledge, training and support to the youths to become successful entrepreneurs, said an official release here on Sunday.
The MSME Department would encourage the entrepreneurs to make barcode registration of the products manufactured by the enterprises to become more acceptable in the market which would help in good marketing of the products.
The Central Government would give 75 per cent discount for the registration purpose. This year, around 15 enterprises would be enrolled for barcode registration, the release said.
Similarly, 10 incubators would be established by the technical institutions and universities of the country with the help of the Central MSME Department to endorse and to strengthen the small and medium entrepreneurs in the State. The State Government has started selecting institutions for setting up of the incubators, added the release.
