The State reported a rise in Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday with 105 people getting infected in 19 districts and the State pool. With this, the total tally increased to 12,86,957.
Among the newly-infected were 22 children in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
Notably, the State had reported 80 cases on Wednesday.
Out of the new cases, 64 were from quarantine, and 41 were local contacts.
Ganjam district recorded the highest 32 new cases followed by Sundargarh with 17, Baleswar, Gajapati and Mayurbhanj six each, Khordha and Jajpur five each, Balangir, Koraput and Sambalpur four each, Jagatsinghpur three, Boudh, Bargarh, Kendrapada and Kandhamal two each and Cuttack, Deogarh, Dhenkanal and Jharsuguda one each,
Besides, one case was reported from the State pool.
The number of active cases stood at 743.
So far, 12,77,045 patients have recovered in the State.
